The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog is a 1927 silent film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The film was released on in 1927 and is based on a story by Marie Belloc Lowndes and a play Who Is He? co-written by Belloc Lowndes, the film is about the hunt for a "Jack the Ripper" type of serial killer in London.

Nitin Sawhney has worked with the London Symphony Orchestra many times, and brings them together again for a live screening of a remastered version of the film to be performed live at The Barbican Centre on 21 July 2012
