Directed by John Landis, starring Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, and a plethora of British talent, Burke & Hare is a British, Japanese, and American made black comedy. Based on the true story of the famous murders, it follows the hapless exploits of the two men as they fall into the business of providing cadavers for the medical fraternity.

The score, composed by Joby Talbot, includes traditional Scottish folk music (with bagpipes) as well as orchestral. It was recorded in Studio One; then taken to Studio Two for mixing and overdubs, overseen by Niall Acott assisted by Tom Halstead.
